     Description

This pocket atlas is a rapid guide to the key anatomic structures of the neck,
the abdomen, and the male and female pelvis, as delineated by ultrasound.
It contains 53 ultrasonic images of the most commonly identified anatomic
structures in these regions, with interfacing line drawings corresponding to
each image. The clear, detail-revealing images have been carefully selected to
provide a representative sample of those encountered in a typical setting.
In order to depict the cross-sectional spatial relationships of the organs,
most of the images were obtained using a static scanner. Real-time sector scanner
images are also included. The scan planes presented are those most commonly
obtained in a routine ultrasound scan
