Atlas of Dermatologic Ultrasound
피부과에서 초음파를 사용하기 시작한 것은 대략 30여년이 되었다. 하지만 그리 많이
사용되지 않았다. 대부분의 초음파는 내부 장기를 진단하는데 집중되어 피부를 관찰
하기에는 적합하지 않았기 때문이다.
최근 들어 피부과에서 사용할 수 있는 높은 주파수 영역의 장비들이 출시가 되고,
피부 진단에 효율적인 transducer가 만들어졌다. 따라서 피부과 영역에서 초음파 사
용이 용이해졌으나, 피부 질환을 초음파 영상으로 진단하는데 참고 자료가 많지 않았
다. 많지 않은 참고 서적 중에 Atlas of Dermatologic Ultrasound는 초음파를 처음 접
하는 경우에 알맞은 서적으로 생각되었다.
피부과 영역에서 초음파 사용이 활발하게 이루어지기를 바라는 마음으로 이 책을
